This 7 days Uganda trip takes you to visit man’s closest cousin - the chimpanzee in their natural habitat at Kibale National Park combined with community visits and game safari experiences at Queen Elizabeth National Park and boat cruises on the Kazinga channel. You will stay at handpicked safari lodges while traveling in comfortable safari jeeps.a

Explore Uganda's countryside as you drive through small towns and villages with rolling hills dotted with tea and banana plantations. Kibale National Park lies North East of Fort Portal - Uganda's reknowned Tourism City famed for its idilic location amidst 4 Great National Parks with dramatic scenic views of the Rwenzori ranges in its background. Kibale National Park is home to 9 different species of primates including the elusive Chimpanzees plus about 350 different bird species with The Green Breasted Pitta coming top on the list. Other Bird species include the Great Blue Turraco, Tinkerbirds, Black and White Casqued Hornbills among others.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda's most famous National Park, it is home to Four of the African Big Five Mammals with the exclusion of the Rhino. The Kazinga Channel connects Lakes George and Edward along a 40 metre long water way that flows through the park. A Boat cruise on the channel gives you the opportunity to get so close to nature with sightings of zillions of hippos, lots of bird species on the banks, elephants, buffalo, waterbucks among others on the banks.

• Kibale National Park is known world over as The Primate Capital of the world, with 13 different primate species including the chimpanzee. The park is also home to over 380 bird species including albertine endemics like The Green Breasted Pitta.
• You will embark on game drives in Queen Elizabeth  and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel looking for predator, grazers and a variety of birds
• Go on community visits at Bigodi and around Lake Mburo National Park, have insights into the daily life of local people.
• You will have walking safaris in Lake Mburo National Park amidst zebras, giraffe, buffalo, lots of antelope, and warthogs among others.
