Safari Overview:
This safari takes you to visit Uganda’s most popular national park, Queen Elizabeth National Park that is located in the back drop of the Rwenzori Mountains and on the floor of The Great East African Rift Valley. The park is home to over 600 species of birds, 85 mammals, and a myriad of crater lakes, predators, grazers, scavengers call this gem home.
You will go on game drives, a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and as well encounter the chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge Forest on a 3 hours chimp trekking experience.

DAY 1: ENTEBBE |

Entebbe International Airport
You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport and will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel at Entebbe. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. |

DAY 2: ENTEBBE – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK | ||
Today morning, you will be picked by your guide at 08:30hrs for a short tour of Entebbe town including a visit to local markets, craft shops, the Entebbe Botanical gardens to see birds. 11:45hrs you will be taken for early lunch and at 12:30hrs transfer to Entebbe Airport for your 13:00hrs scheduled domestic flight to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On arrival, you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to your lodge for a detailed briefing about your safari. Later on when you after lunch, you will go on an evening game drive and scenic drive through the extinct craters. Have dinner and overnight at your lodge. Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in the south western part of Uganda on the floor of the Great East African Rift Valley. The park became popular after the visit of the Late Queen of England Queen Elizabeth in 1954 after whom the park got its name. The park is home to over 600 bird species and a natural channel connects lakes Edward and George, it is also believed to be home to the biggest concentration of hippos in Africa. |

DAY 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK | ||
After an early morning breakfast, depart for your morning game drive in the Kasenyi savannah plains. Look out for grazers and predators such as Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, Elephants, Antelopes, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Bush bucks and so on. You shall go for a mid-morning boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel after your game drive; the channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George. It is home to one of Africa’s largest hippo populations and bird species. This 3hrs boat cruise will enrich you with views of the water loving animals such as Hippos, Elephants, Buffalos, Crocodiles and other antelopes as well as bird species.
Return to your lodge for lunch and relax. Later in the evening go for a sundowner experience before returning to the lodge for dinner and Overnight. |

DAY 4: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK TO ENTEBBE | ||
You shall wake up for your morning breakfast, and there after go on a chimp trekking experience in the Kyambura Gorge Forest. The gorge lies about 20m below sea level and a community of chimpanzee is habituated here, today you shall pay a visit before taking your flight back to Entebbe.
Our representative shall drop you off at Protea Hotel where you shall have a day use room until 18:00hrs when you will be transferred back to the airport for your International outbound flight. |

Book This Tour
This Safari is available for booking for both Private and Group Travelers. Chimp Tracking Permits are highly competitive and thus advance booking is always highly recommended. A one time Chimp Tracking Permit costs $200 per person and its only valid for the particular dates booked for and as indicated in the itinerary, there is no refund for the Chimp Tracking Permit fees should there be any Cancellations of the tour after booking. Please note that you will be grouped with other trackers while on the Chimp Tracking Experience, exclusive tracking experiences call for extra charges.
